Our story
Rod Sullivan opened Sullivan Iron Works in 1997 with a focus on providing top-quality ornamental custom metalwork, durable iron gates, and our signature “Ogre Tools” in Amador, Placer County, El Dorado County and greater Sacramento area. Since that time, Rod has expanded the operation to include shipping across the U.S.A.
In 1995, Rod started making the first tools for a few selected friends that were participants in large barbeque competitions in Southern California.
